This is an image from the Disney Performance Center in Los Angeles designed by Frank Gehry. It is a sea of curved and reflective surfaces, beautifully interconnected. I always wish that a surfer appears from the crashing wave, crying in joy. (www.alfaphotography.com)

Ali R. Photography, Image # 19, Red Sail
This picture is beautiful as print. Electronic media sometimes does not do justice. The original object/subject, a sculpture at Boston University's George Sherman Union, is made of metal. This image in contrast feels soft, true to its title. (www.alfaphotography.com)
Ali R. Photography, Image # 18, Ribbon of Mobius
Some buildings are so beautifully designed and constructed that taking interesting images are pretty easy. Yet, a photographer and artist needs to imagine angles and compositions that are unique and thought provoking. This is a photograph taken from the outside of the Getty Museum in Los Angeles, designed by Richard Meier and Associates. The viewers have visited this place many times and the image looks somehow familiar; but not quitely! (www.alfaphotography.com)
