Boycott Capital One Bank, Dump Their Cards

Before I get into anything worth talking, let's punish Capital One Bank. Don't use their cards anymore. These people are not worthy of our business and are ungrateful as well. What have you seen so far in response to the bailout money? Practically nothing. If it was not for a leak, Wells Fargo people would have been laughing all the way to Las Vegas and wondering why the rest of us are so unattentative. The executives' bonus fiasco is already old news.

I have not written for a while. Reasons are/were numerous and frankly boring. Meanwhile, I felt good about the election and having Mr. Obama as the new president. Seeing a picture of him in the White House was joyful and gave me a sense of relief from eight years of discomfort. But on the dark side, the economy seems to be worse than ever and no end in sight. Also off the radar are the people who caused it. Former Vice President was advising Obama on foreign policy, Guantanamo Prison and other pertinent issues. We have enough to worry about, please don't inject more "fear" into us. Reporters, if you don't have anything to write about, just take a day off. The telephone company Verizon has raised its phone rates, credit card companies are ripping off the Americans, oil companies are making a killing when many more Americans are unemployed, write about these issues that the average people actually care about. By the way, on the home front, who gave the Verizon California permission to increase its rates? At a time that we are "symbolically" limiting bank executives' salaries, freeze pay for the White Hose staff, California is asking its employees for a couple of furlough days, and unemployment is sky high, Verizon should have joined the community and "cut" the rates. Our city officials should have known better. Don't they fathom that the average citizens are struggling emotionally and financially?
