This is one of the two images that I have called "Homage to M. K. Ciurlionis I" and "Homage to M. K. Ciurlionis II." Many people look at you with wide eyes hearing his name, but for Lithuanians he is a legend. Mikalojus Konstantinas Ciurlionis, the famed Lithuanian composer and painter was born in 1875 and died in 1911, only 35 years old.
