Now that I have gotten your attention, let me explain what I do with photography and why.  The subjects of my photographs are objects and scenes in our contemporary urban environment: interiors of buildings, trap doors with personalities, patches of color on a wall surface, unfinished exteriors, or a rusted wall in need of fresh paint - unremarkable and overlooked until perfect lighting, proper lens, composition and the photographer’s mood together contribute to the creation of unique images.  Here the flag poles and their shadows are essential to the composition, and lining them up was not an easy task considering moving around in the middle of the street with cars blowing horn at me.
